A new key visual, PV trailer, main cast, staff, and theme songs have been revealed for the upcoming Apocalypse Hotel original TV anime series. The anime will premiere in Japan in April 2025. Saho Shirasu is headlining the anime’s main voice cast as Yachiyo, who is featured in the new visual and trailer. Japanese singer-songwriter aiko is also performing the anime’s main ending theme song “capsule.” Meanwhile, the anime’s opening theme is “skirt.”
Kana Shundo is directing the anime series, with Shigeru Murakoshi (I Parry Everything, Dark Gathering) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Natsuki Yokoyama (FLCL: Shoegaze prop design) as character designer, Kohei Honda (A Sign of Affection, Kakushigoto) as art director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) as music composer. Izumi Takemoto (creator of Apple Paradise and Aoi-chan Panic!) is credited with the original character designs, while CygamesPictures is in charge of the animation production.
Synopsis:
Apocalypse Hotel takes place on an Earth in a solitary hotel, where mankind has disappeared and civilization has collapsed. In its place, nature has begun to reclaim most of the land.
