A new main key visual has been unveiled for the upcoming second season of Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, which will begin airing in Japan on April 13, 2025. The first season of Go, Go, Loser Ranger! premiered on April 7, 2024 and ended on June 30, 2024 for 12 episodes. Disney+ will once again stream the second season outside of Japan, as it did with season one. The show was also streamed on Disney’s Hulu service in the U.S.
The returning staff members working on the second season include Keiichi Sato (Inuyashiki and GANTZ:O chief director, Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul) as director, Keiichiro Ochi (The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses, The Quintessential Quintuplets) as series screenwriter, Kahoko Koseki as character designer, and Yoshihiro Ike (B: The Beginning) as music composer. Yostar Pictures is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the superhero action manga by The Quintessential Quintuplets’ Negi Haruba, which was first serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on February 3, 2021. Seventeen tankobon volumes have been released as of January 2025. Kodansha USA releases the manga in English.
