A new celebration illustration for the upcoming Teogonia TV anime series has been released, drawn by series character designer Koichiro Kawano (Teogonia original illustrator, Muhyo & Roji`s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation). The series was also confirmed to be premiering in Japan sometime in April 2025, and will broadcast on TOKYO MX and other channels.
Kunihiro Mori (Phantom in the Twilight) is directing the anime adaptation, with Tomoyasu Ookubo as series screenwriter, and Kenji Fujisawa (Baki Hanma 2020) as music composer. Asahi Production is in charge of the animation production. The anime’s main voice cast stars Mutsumi Tamura as Kai and Kana Hanazawa as Jose.
Teogonia began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on August 7, 2017, written by Tsukasa Tanimai. It was later published by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha’s PASH! Books label as a light novel series on March 30, 2018, with new illustrations by Kawano. Three volumes have been released as of June 2019. J-Novel Club releases the light novels in English digitally.
Synopsis:
