A new trailer has been released for the Doraemon: Nobita no Esekai Monogatari anime movie. Expect fantasy scenery, an intimidating red dragon, Nobita and company entering “The Scream,” and a preview of the insert song “Kimi no Yume o Kikinagara, Boku wa Waraeru Idea o!” by Aimyon.
Doraemon: Nobita no Esekai Monogatari is set to premiere in Japan on March 7 2025. It is the 45th anniversary project for the Doraemon franchise’s movie line and involves an adventure in the Atelier Kingdom, which is located in the world of paintings.
The Doraemon manga by the late duo Fujiko F. Fujio began serialization in 1969 with Shogakukan as publisher. 46 tankoubon volumes were published between 1974 to 1996 under the Tentoumushi Comics label, and a Volume 0 followed in 2019.
The first Doraemon TV anime series began airing in 1973, while the current TV series began in 2005. 1980’s Doraemon: Nobita’s Dinosaur was the first anime film in the franchise.
