Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 4 has begun to release its promotional date-themed visuals. Unsurprisingly, the first heroine to be featured is Chizuru Mizuhara, seen here on a bench while sakura petals fall about her. The bench is on a train platform, and Chizuru has a pink briefcase with her.
Last month, it was announced that Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 4 would premiere in July and run with a split-cour format. The teaser visual that came with that announcement also paired Chizuru with a briefcase.
Rent-A-Girlfriend is based on the romantic comedy manga by Reiji Miyajima, which began in 2017 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and has 39 tankoubon volumes as of January 17, 2025 JST. The first season of the TV anime adaptation premiered in July 2020.
The Rent-A-Girlfriend manga has also inspired a spin-off titled Kanojo, Hitomishirimasu and a 2022 live-action drama. A MAGES-developed visual novel was released in 2024.
