Dengeki Bunko light novel series The Kept Man of the Princess Knight (Himekishi-sama no Himo) will be adapted into a TV anime. A video and an illustration were released in commemoration. The Toru Shirogane-authored, Saki Mashima-illustrated series started in February 2022 and has six volumes as of August 2024. It has a manga adaptation.
Chihiro Kumano (Unnamed Memory assistant director) is directing the series at BLADE. Deko Akao (Unnamed Memory) is the series composer, while Hisao Ishii (16bit Sensation: Another Layer Episode 12 co-animation director), who drew the commemorative illustration, is character designer. The lead cast includes Junichi Suwabe as Matthew and Mikako Komatsu as Arwin.
Synopsis:
