An anime adaptation for the fantasy light novel series A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai is in the works. A new teaser visual featuring the protagonist has also been released. The main voice cast, premiere date, and format for the anime were not yet revealed.
Yoshinori Odaka (Osomatsu-san season four director) is directing the anime adaptation, with Gigaemon Ichikawa (A Galaxy Next Door, Bogus Skill <<fruitmaster>>) as series screenwriter and Mayumi Watanabe (Too Cute Crisis) as character designer. Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP are handling the animation production.
Additionally, A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai will also be featured at the Marvelous booth at Anime Japan 2025 later this month. A cosplay photoshoot with cosplayer Tsukimi Tsukune will take place, along with an anime production exhibition, limited edition booklet giveaway, and a photo spot corner.
Visitors will also be able to participate in the TRYDECK Prize Game Corner, where they will be able to win exclusive anime merchandise such as can badges, manju, chocolates, and more. All participants will receive a special origins postcard and prizes are limited and only available while supplies last.
The original light novel series was first launched by AlphaPolis on January 24, 2017 and is written by Masuo Kinoko, with illustrations by Senbon Umishima. Fifteen volumes have been released in total so far, with a 16th volume set for release on March 17, 2025.
A manga adaptation by Tomozo was launched by AlphaPolis on December 13, 2017, releasing eight tankobon volumes in total so far. The volumes have been released digitally in English since March 31, 2023. Alphapolis also releases the manga in English via its Alpha Manga app.
Synopsis:
