The first key visual for Chained Soldier Season 2 has been released. Front and center of it is Ren Yamashiro, the proud and mighty leader of the Demon Defense Force and its 10th unit, though Kyoka Uzen and Tenka Izumo fans will be able to find those characters as well.
Additional staff information for the show were also revealed. Among them is the confirmation of Yasuhiro Nakanishi‘s return as series composer. The first season of Chained Soldier aired during the Winter 2024 anime season. The anime is an adaptation of the Shueisha-published dark fantasy ecchi action manga series written by Takahiro and drawn by Youhei Takemura, which began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in 2019 and has 17 tankoubon volumes as of December 2024.
Synopsis:
Decades ago, gates to an otherworldly and dangerous dimension known as Mato-the “Demon City”-appeared across Japan.
