The Duel Masters Lost manga is illustrated by Yo Kanebayashi, with Duel Masters franchise creator Shigenobu Matsumoto credited as original creator. The manga began serialization on Shogakukan’s Weekly CoroCoro Comic website on February 1, 2024. Kanebayashi and Matsumoto also worked on the Gekka no Shinigami sequel manga.

Duel Masters Lost is described as an “alternate time story” set during the same time as the current Duel Masters Win series. It follows 16-year-old Win Kirifuda who has lost everything from his old world and is drawn into a high stakes battle to take back his life.
