A new teaser visual, trailer, and more cast have been revealed for the upcoming new Alice in Wonderland anime film adaptation, Fushigi no Kuni de Alice to -Dive in Wonderland-. The film will begin screening theatrically in Japan on August 29, 2025 and follows a young girl from Japan who somehow finds herself in Wonderland and meets Alice.
Toshiya Shinohara (NagiAsu: A Lull in the Sea, The Aquatope on White Sand) is directing the anime film, with Yuko Kakihara (Blue Box series screenwriter) writing the script. P.A Works is in charge of the film’s animation production. Lewis Carroll’s original 1865 fantasy novel has inspired many adaptations since its first publication, including the 1951 Disney animated film Alice in Wonderland.
