A new teaser PV trailer has been released for the upcoming With You and the Rain TV anime series, which previews a fateful encounter between main heroine Fuji and Kimi. The anime is set to premiere in Japan in July 2025.
Tomohiro Tsukimisato (Bikkuri-men, Ueno-san wa Bukiyou) is directing the anime series, with Toko Machida (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy) as series screenwriter, and Ayano Owada (Bikkuri-men, Ueno-san wa Bukiyou) as character designer. Lesprit is handling the animation production for the series.
The anime is based on the slice of life comedy manga by Ko Nikaido, which has been serialized in Kodansha’s Young Magazine since August 17, 2020 and has released seven tankobon volumes as of September 2024.
Synopsis:
If it looks like a dog and acts like a dog and insists it’s a dog, it’s a dog? Probably? She adopted it anyway, and her life with this “dog” will never be boring!
