Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! 2nd Season Unveils New Trailer

A new trailer, key visual, and main staff have been unveiled for the upcoming Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! 2. The second season of Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! was first announced in September 2023, but a premiere date has yet to be announced. Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! is based on Hori’s 4-koma spinoff manga Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin!, which was launched in Ichijinsha’s Manga 4-koma Palette magazine on March 2, 2018. Four tankobon volumes have been released as of June 2019.

Shunji Maki is serving as director for the second season, with Yu Sato (Kotaro Lives Alone) returning as screenwriter and scriptwriter, who is now joined by Hotaru Asafuji. Other season two staff include Nana Mori (first season animation director) as character designer and chief animation director, Masanori Tsuchiya (By The Grace of the Gods) as sound director, and Fuga Hatori (My Wife is the Student Council President) as music composer. CANDY BOX is in charge of the animation production. Yostar Pictures was previously credited as co-animation production company for the first season.
