The Mechanical Marie ( Kikaijikake no Marie ) TV anime adaptation has received a teaser trailer and teaser visual. Also revealed were its main staff, main cast, and Fall 2025 anime season release. Mechanical Marie is directed by Junji Nishimura (Vlad Love, Hikari no Ou) with series composition by Mariko Kunisawa (The Dinner Table Detective), and character designs by Yoko Kikuchi (Twilight Out of Focus). The animation production is handled by Zero-G and Lieber.
The lead voice actors are Nao Toyama as Marie and Haruki Ishiya as Arthur. Mechanical Marie is based on Aki Akimoto‘s romantic comedy manga, which sees the titular Marie, a former gifted martial artist who is now a maid for zaibatsu heir Arthur, pretending to be a robot at work due to Arthur’s cold and misanthropic nature.
Synopsis:
Once a genius martial artist, Marie is a human girl who now hides her identity and works undercover as a “mechanical maid” in the mansion of Arthur, the heir to a powerful conglomerate who despises humans. If her true identity is discovered, it’s instant execution!?
Taking advantage of her naturally expressionless face, Marie flawlessly fulfills her duties as a “mechanical maid” while secretly protecting Arthur from the assassins constantly targeting his life. But things get complicated when the smitten Arthur, who dotes on Marie, comes dangerously close to discovering her secret! Every day is a nerve-wracking mix of thrills and close calls!
